How Zorion Keeps Your Money Safe
Your Zorion wallet holds real money — a USD balance you use for subscriptions, foreign sites, and everyday payments. So it's fair to ask: what actually protects it? Here's the honest answer, in plain words.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
A password alone is a single lock. If someone guesses it or steals it, they're in. Two-factor authentication adds a second lock: after your password, you confirm it's really you with a code that only you can access.
Why does this matter so much? Because most account takeovers start with a leaked password — often one reused from another site. With 2FA on, a stolen password by itself isn't enough to get into your account. It's the single biggest upgrade you can make to your security, and it takes a minute to set up.
Encryption, in transit and at rest
Encryption means your data is scrambled so that only the intended party can read it. Zorion uses it in two places:
- In transit — when your app talks to our servers, the connection is encrypted. Someone snooping on public Wi-Fi sees scrambled noise, not your card details.
- At rest — your sensitive data is also encrypted where it's stored, so it isn't sitting around in readable form.
You don't have to do anything to turn this on. It's always working in the background.
24/7 fraud monitoring
Our systems watch for suspicious activity around the clock — patterns that don't look like you. If something looks wrong, a card can be frozen instantly, stopping further charges while things get sorted out. And because Zorion has 24/7 human support, there's always a real person to talk to, not just an automated reply.
Your cards are their own defense
Virtual cards aren't just convenient — they limit damage by design:
- One card per subscription. If a merchant leaks your card details, only that one card is exposed — not your wallet, not your other cards.
- Freeze instantly. One tap pauses a card. Unfreeze it just as fast.
- Delete with a full refund. Delete a card and its balance goes straight back to your wallet.
- Issued in seconds. Replacing a compromised card takes moments, not days.
What you can do
Security is a team effort. Our side is above; here's yours:
- Turn on 2FA. Seriously — do it today.
- Use a strong, unique password that you don't use anywhere else.
- Never share your codes. No one from Zorion will ever ask for your password or 2FA code. Anyone who does is not us.
- Freeze first, ask later. If anything feels off, freeze the card. It costs nothing and takes a second.
Safety here isn't one big wall — it's several layers working together, with you as one of them.
